I just moved into my apartment in Seoul. Jeslyn and I missed our morning train that we had booked seats for and we had to catch another one half an hour later. Our apartment is nice, big and AMAZING. I spent too long playing with our lock. Spent the night walking along the streets and eating ice cream in the -1 degree weather.

Why are you in Korea? Is the exchange a required part of your college course or something?
No it’s not required, but it’s something that everyone can do. I chose Korea also because it’s closer to home and not so expensive.

Most wtf moment in Korea so far.
A lot of things are wtf in Korea. This didn’t happen to me, but to a fellow exchange mate who’s very close, close enough for me to shout what the fuck in public so loud that she had to leap across to shut my face. Her entire exam paper was set in Korean despite the course being conducted in English and said exam was supposed to be English too....
